Gyan and Chumlano Lama have been a team since 2009 when they married in Mumbai. Gyan had been in Mumbai for about five months to open his own Martial Arts Academy When he received the Lord in 2001. Gyan and Chumlano were involved in pastoral and worship ministry at Bombay Baptist Church and several other field ministries back in Mumbai. Following their call to church planting, they moved to Kathmandu in 2011 with their first child, Avishai when he was just 3 months old. Kathmandu International Fellowship was birthed in the living room in 2012 with the vision to reach out to English-speaking Nepalese and Internationals. 

Since moving to Kathmandu, the family has grown. 

They have a strong mandate to reach the lost and the broken with the message of the love of Jesus Christ and under their visionary leadership and relational style, the Church has grown and lives have been transformed.
